It's official - today I received my (temporary) visa to allow entry into the Netherlands for our 6 month adventure. Since I am the only member of the family who doesn't hold a Dutch passport, I am the only one who requires this visa with the snazzy photo. With 5 weeks to go until departure, we are eating down the fridge and freezer (don't come to our house if you don't like leftovers!) and making our packing lists. We (read Erzo) have also found an apartment, purchased temporary mobile phones, mapped out the route to work, and planned a nice tour through Switzerland and France. Just where will this Dutch adventure begin you ask? I'll check in now and then to post an update on the plans...
